Wu Guanghua (吴光华)

Wu Guanghua (1933, Dongxiang, Jiangxi Province) originally started as a glazer of pottery, but after he was accepted at the Eastern China Branch of the Central Art Academy in 1953, he graduated from the Woodblock Department of the Zhejiang Art Academy in 1958. That same year, he was sent to work in the Shanghai People's Fine Art Publishing House. At present, he works there as an editorial advisor.

Wu is known for his woodblock prints, for which he has received awards. Some of his work is included in the collection of the China Art Gallery.
