Chen Jinyan (陈今言)
Chen Jinyan (1924-1978) was born on Liaoyang, Liaoning Province. Ms. Chen graduated from the Arts Faculty of Zhuanren University in Beijing and became deputy head of the Arts Department of the Beijing Daily (Beijing ribao, 北京日报).
Ms. Chen was known for her caricatures and blockprints.
