Chen Bingxi (陈秉玺)
Chen Bingxi was born in Chongqing, Sichuan Province, in 1944. He graduated from the secondary school attached to the Sichuan Art Academy in 1964. For a long time, he worked in the cultural office of the Ganmu Tibetan Autonomous District and directed mass art activities.

Chen is known for his Tibetan tangka paintings. This poster, featuring Zhu De, is based on a painting by Chen, in collaboration with Renzhen Langjia, Nima Zeren, Yixi Zeren, Da Wa, Yixi Sangdan, Lü Shumin and Mei Dingkai.
